Landskrona stad has started a massive project to develop and rejuvenate Karlslund's sports and recreational areas. The project aims to give you and the rest of the people in Landskrona more and better opportunities for an active lifestyle. In Karlslund you will be able to exercise and be active however you want to, whenever you want to.
Large project with several components
The project will run for several years and include several parts. We will build a new ice rink, a new public swimming pool, the park Karlslundsparken will get a makeover and the football team Landskrona BoIS' arena will be upgraded to mention some.
Project to build new ice rink has started
During a ceremony on April 12, the project to build a new ice rink was officially started. Children from Pilängsskolan and representatives from sports clubs took part in the ceremony. The project is expected to finish autumn 2024 and will result in two new ice rinks, one of which will seat 500 spectators.
